Unlock Your Smartphone Easily: Almost No One Knows This Hidden Android Function

To activate Smart Lock, follow these steps – In our example on a Samsung device:

1. Set a secure locking method for your device under “Device Protection” in the first setting.
2. Then the menu item changes to “Effect to unlock” for “Safe lock settings”. Tap on the point.
3. Choose “Smart Lock” and enter your PIN to authorize the function on your mobile phone.
4. You are now in the Smart Lock menu. Here you have access to the following options:
   Reliable equipment: You classify one or more devices as “reliable”. If the smartphone is near these devices, it automatically unlocks using the smart lock.
   Trusted place: You choose a location where the phone is always unlocked.
   Reliable voice: Your phone can use voice recognition to determine if you are using it.
   Wear recognition: By recognizing certain movement patterns, Smart Lock identifies whether you are currently carrying your mobile phone with you. Then your phone will automatically unlock accordingly.

But the smart-lock feature cannot be used only on Samsung devices. Since it is part of Android, it can be found in the settings of most devices – just search for “Smart Lock”.
