Examination in cow science postponed after controversy

A spokesperson of the authority invited the quiz and which was used by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to protect the cows, on Wednesday, told the German press agency that the education quiz would be postponed.

According to local media, the educational content of the cow states that killing cows causes earthquakes – and Indian cows’ milk has traces of gold.

The one-hour online quiz must actually take place on Thursday. Foreigners should also be able to participate. There should be an attractive amount for successful candidates. A message from the Ministry of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Farming on teaching material also said in January: “It will make all Indians curious about cows and inform them of untapped potential and commercial opportunities (…).”

Holy cows of india
In India, cows are considered sacred to the Hindu majority. According to traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine, cow’s milk, cow urine and cow dung are considered as medicine. However, many farmers abandon old female cows when they do not provide milk and it is no longer economically viable to keep them. Many animals then die in traffic.

The government of India has increasingly politicized cows, invested a lot of money for their protection and for cow science and in some cases banned the slaughter of these animals.
