Investing.com – Canadian stocks were lower after closing on Wednesday, and underperformed.

Down 0.52% at the end of business in Toronto.

Best Performance in Produced Season Spin Master Corp (TSX :), which rose 9.39% or 3.38 points to close at 39.39. Laurentian bank of canada (TSX 🙂 meanwhile ended at 40.03, adding 9.58% or 3.50 points. Sleep Country Canada Holdings Inc (TSX 🙂 was up 8.11% or 2.27 points to trade at 30.27 points.

Worst performance of the season Ballard Power System Inc. (TSX :), which fell 8.32% or 2.96 points to end at 32.63 in late trade. Shopify Inc (TSX 🙂 was down 6.74% or 111.39 points to close at 1,542.40. Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. (TSX 🙂 fell 5.82% or 1.39 points to 22.50.

The falling shares carried unchanged shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange from 553 to 486 and unchanged at 95.
