16-year-old Isabella missing in Paris area: many questions remain unanswered

That. She had been missing for almost two weeks – now 16-year-old Isabella Seale has shown up in France by all indications. Surprisingly, a call on Facebook gave a very specific signal, the police announced in Sel (Lower Saxony) on Tuesday.

A girl I met in France was for Isabella “with the possibility of limits on certainty”. At first, many questions remained unanswered – such as the circumstances of his disappearance. Police said the investigation was on.

Isabella in Paris?

According to a police spokesperson, the girl’s father and police officers want to go to France this Wednesday. Authorities assumed Isabella was in the Paris area, it said.

The girl of the same name left her parents at home on the morning of 22 March. The young man did not carry any key, wallet or cell phone with him. Therefore, the police assumed that they wanted to meet someone near the house. There is no reason to believe that Isabella wanted to run away, it was said last.

Police suspects violent crimes

The parents called the police the same day. Authorities were suspected of a violent crime. A special commission evaluated contacts between young people in chat groups and social networks. On Easter Monday, officials immediately asked the population for help – apparently with success.

According to police experience, most of the missing children and teenagers reappear after a few hours or days. But there are exceptions, and some fates are permanently unexplained. At the end of the year, about 1,300 people were recorded in the ongoing missing person file of the Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office. It consisted of 202 male and 160 female adolescents. Since 2001, the then 15-year-old Katerin Könert of the Louco-Danburgburg district has gone missing in Lower Paxony.
