Houston (USA): Police Finds Missing Tiger After One Week Search - News Abroad

After several days of searching, police found a missing tiger in Houston, Texas.

“I think the public thought it would be easy to catch the tiger. But that was not the case at all,” said investigator Ron Borza in Houston. The search began when a police officer spotted a tiger outside in his neighborhood on Sunday last week .

According to police, the 26-year-old owner took the animal away. The owner was arrested shortly afterwards for other offenses. There was no trace of a nine-month-old and 80-kg tiger named Bharat (Bharat).

Borja said authorities received a notification on Saturday from the local population that the owner’s wife wanted to hand over the tiger. The policeman left him open where the animal had been for the past few days. “The tiger moved a bit here and there,” he said.
