The history of women at ETH is a long story, as stated in a press release. Heartily set the task of condensing them and putting them into a clear, simple formula. The team around art director Julian Scheidegger uses a language that is reminiscent of the militant tradition of the women’s movement. By combining the famous gender symbolism with the university’s initials, interpreting the symbol with lots of color and dynamism, and finally placing it on paper in the style of a wild poster, the impression of a spontaneous and somewhat sharp rally graphic was created, Which we can all participate in the invitation.
Because this is ETH. The purpose of the new app tour is to invite us to come to the ETH Honggerburg campus and download the app. “Science is female” goes on an independent tour of the Höngerberg campus with visitors on her smartphone and introduces female pioneers in science: from the first female student to today’s female researchers.
The By Heart team worked with those responsible at ETH to develop a mix of key visual-related measures, which are now making new tour offers known. This resulted in posters, display banners, floor stickers, advertisements and digital advertising material, which are currently being rolled out in a phased manner.
