The investigation against Donald Trump and the Trump Organization is in full swing. Relations with mafia bosses may be undone.

New York: Donald Trump and his company Trump Organization are in full swing. Investigators around Public Prosecutor Cyrus Vance come to the aid of a law that was originally introduced in the 1970s to fight mafia factions in the “Big Apple” and disband their structures. New York law is based on a well-known US federal law: the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

The New York version of federal law is known as “Little Rico” and enables prosecutors to treat an organization as a criminal entity if it is charged with at least three separate, independent offenses is applied. In this case, Donald Trump and other officials of the Trump Organization will face a minimum of one year and a maximum of 25 years imprisonment under the law.

Donald Trump: Investigation against Trump Organization in hot phase

“I’m pretty sure you think about it,” longtime New York criminal lawyer Robert Anello told the American magazine Politico at the sight of a lawsuit against Donald Trump. The investigators themselves make a clear indication that Anello is correct in this assessment. Prosecutor Vance has recently hired Mark Pomerantz, who is best known as a mafia boss and an expert in the prosecution of white-collar crime.

Former President and successful real estate agent Donald Trump has many connections to New York mafia bosses, some of which are decades old. According to investigative research for Politico, Trump is said to have already worked closely with the mafia on the construction of Trump Tower in New York. The same applies to other construction projects such as apartments in the Trump Plaza building, also in New York. The then young Donald is said to have received cheap concrete through his contacts with Anthony “Fat Tony” Salerno and Paul Castellano. Local business mafia is said to have been in the hands of building fabric in the 1970s and 1980s. The long-standing collaboration between Trump and Roy Cohan also suggested that later presidential candidates would be closer to suspected circles. Cohan, a late New York lawyer, worked with many mafia bosses during his career.

Investigation against Donald Trump in New York: Family had to give testimony against

Along with the legendary trials against mafia owners Salerno and Castellano, the prosecutor’s office is also hoping to help a narrow circle of family or employees in the possible trial of Donald Trump. Jennifer Weiselberg is already working with investigators. The former daughter-in-law of Alan Weisselberg, longtime CFO of the Trump Organization, has already made several statements in the investigation. He told CNN that he strongly believed that his former father-in-law would also testify against Trump.

Donald Trump’s son and acting vice president of the Trump Organization, Eric Trump, and family business managing director Donald Trump Jr. have also been summoned. Cooperation with officials is unlikely for both. The same applies to Ivanka Trump. During her interrogation, she had used the same strategy more or less like her older brother: Donald and Ivanka no longer remember Vesselberg, who has worked for the Trump Organization for nearly 40 years and is its supreme employee who is the last Trump is not by name. .
