Bauhaus University’s annual exhibition begins today, Thursday (4 p.m.) titled “The Sum”. By Sunday, students and teachers will show their projects that were created in the event of the pandemic. A large portion can be explored digitally. Last minute presentations were also offered on site, which guests can watch on-campus.

In the beginning, the university is introducing a new format: the radio program “SOMESUM.FM” (4 PM). It can be heard on bauhaus.fm or on frequency 106.6 MHz. Studio guests are planned with university anecdotes from the pandemic, live broadcasts and interviews. It is broadcast from a mobile radio station, MedianCare.

On the way to a climate-neutral campus

Students from the Faculties of Architecture and Urbanism as well as Civil Engineering balance CO emissions on their way to a climate-neutral campus by 2050. The design project of the President of Urban Development “Under the Asphalt of the Campus” shows the vision of a permanently redesigned campus using the example of the car park on the University’s southern campus. Designs of 37 students will be shown.

Product design students Felix Stockhausen and Friedrich Gerlach take a closer look at the bicycle range of COVID-19 safety products. An interdisciplinary team designed a pop-up office that invites you to work outside. In summary, the pavilion is next to the main building.
