Opel Supports Flood Victims: Free Cars for Victims | life and wisdom

In the last few days, many people lost everything in the flood disaster. Carmaker Opel has now parted ways with the injured party. With the mobility campaign “a free replacement vehicle for flood-damaged people,” the people of Russellsheim want to help quickly and non-bureaucratic.

People whose vehicles are no longer movable due to flood damage can now borrow a free car for up to three weeks from an Opel dealer.

In previous flood disasters, Opal was able to keep thousands of homes mobile with similar functions. Even in the current situation, the carmaker wants to help those affected by this direct assistance quickly and make the next few weeks easier for them.

“Images of disaster zones affect all of us. We would like to at least take some concern to the affected people and keep them mobile in case they have their own vehicle due to floods. Destroyed or not ready to drive anymore. After all, they still need a car for their way to work and for everyday life. This is why flood victims can now get a replacement vehicle free of charge from their local Opel partner for the next few weeks,” says Opel Germany boss Andreas Marx.

You can apply like this:

The application is very simple: Affected people can contact the Opel Info Service Hotline (02152 915 274; available Monday, July 19, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or at one of the Opel dealers in the affected areas. The provision of a replacement car would then be conducted on site by Opel partners.

A confirmation issued by local emergency services such as THW, the police, fire brigade or directly from the municipality that your own vehicle is unwilling to drive due to the effects of the flood is sufficient as evidence.
