There has been a cycle path for cyclists in Hermannstrae since Tuesday: after years of discussion and demands, the city had yellow markings for traffic testing, and on Wednesday final details such as pictograms are to be added. Cyclists can now travel in both directions separately from car traffic. In the city direction, the section around the Kaiserhof intersection is currently excluded – the city fears traffic jams for cars and trams.
