Elder Lake: new Intel processors should appear in mid-November


A new leak suggests that Intel’s Elder Lake processors will be launched in mid-November. The chips should be presented at the end of next month. Apart from the dates, a list of different models has also been leaked.

From a report in an online magazine wccftech Shows that future CPU generations will see daylight on November 19th. On the same date, Z690 mainboards based on the LGA1700 socket will also be available. The presentation will take place at Intel’s innovation event on October 27 and 28.

The manufacturer is allowed to provide all the details about the chips there. Intel previously announced that the Elder Lake processors feature a hybrid architecture and include powerful performance and energy-saving efficiency cores. This structure is supported by Windows 11, so that the twelfth Intel Core generation is optimized for the Redmond operating system and provides a performance boost here.

The new Z690 motherboard should support both Intel’s twelfth generation K model and all other chips. In addition, the platform brings support for DDR5, PCIe Gen 5.0 and above, extended functions for overclocking.
