PULSE 3D Wireless Headset will be available next month in Midnight Black

In June, we unveiled a Galaxy-themed color scheme for DualSense wireless controllers. I am pleased to announce that the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is also available in a new color to match – Midnight Black.

This facelift of the PULSE 3D wireless headset matches the color scheme of the DualSense wireless controller in midnight black—with two different shades of black. The design of the headset is based on the location in the night sky. The Midnight Black Pulse 3D Wireless Headset will be available from participating retailers worldwide next month. to see details please click here.

You can use any compatible headset to experience 3D audio content in supported PS5 games. But the PULSE 3D Wireless Headset is specifically designed to take full advantage of the Tempest 3D-AudioTech on the PS5 console. The PULSE 3D wireless headset features a finely tuned frequency response so players can more accurately localize sounds to match the gameplay on the screen.

In our second major system update for the PS5, as part of our efforts to improve the audio gaming experience, we’re also introducing a new equalizer control function for the PULSE 3D wireless headset within the PS5 console’s sound settings.

PULSE 3D Wireless Headset users can choose from three presets: Standard, Bass Boost, or Shooter, which emphasizes the sound of steps and shots. For more shortcuts, users can also set their own presets and save up to three user-defined settings. In addition, gamers can quickly adjust these equalizer settings while playing through Control Center without leaving the game.
