The company Alb-Gold Teigwaren GmbH is recalling two products under its brand “Best Land Quality”. Related Articles “Best Country Quality Organic Wholegrain Spaghetti” in a 500g package. The best dates affected are 25.02.2023 and before 26.02.2023, reported album-gold in a press release.
A total of around 1,400 packages have been recalled. They should no longer be consumed. However, initially, the recall is a precautionary measure.

Affected products contain an increased content of ergot alkaloids. Similar to other grains such as rye and wheat, ergot alkaloids are found in ergot. They are the metabolic products of a fungus.
