The company Alb-Gold Teigwaren GmbH is recalling two products under its brand “Best Land Quality”. Related Articles “Best Country Quality Organic Wholegrain Spaghetti” in a 500g package. The best dates affected are 25.02.2023 and before 26.02.2023, reported album-gold in a press release.
A total of around 1,400 packages have been recalled. They should no longer be consumed. However, initially, the recall is a precautionary measure.
Pasta maker recalls products: Contain mushrooms
Affected products contain an increased content of ergot alkaloids. Similar to other grains such as rye and wheat, ergot alkaloids are found in ergot. They are the metabolic products of a fungus. As per the Food Act, there is currently no fixed limit value for it, but its consumption can lead to health issues.
Products can be returned and customers receive a refund. In addition, they have already been withdrawn from sale.
