Colombia 0-0 Brazil

Brazil did not score full points for the first time, after winning all nine previous qualifying matches for the Football World Cup to be held in Qatar next year. The record world champion drew 0–0 from Colombia. Ajax Amsterdam substitute Antony had the game’s biggest scoring opportunity for Brazil in the Caribbean port city of Barranquilla. He failed from close range against Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina in the 84th minute. He had already blocked Neymar’s shot from the edge of the penalty area in the 5th minute. Selecao remained unbeaten on 28 points from ten matches at the top of the South American World Cup qualifying group.
