Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg: Possible again: from Nuremberg to the USA and Canada

Nuremberg (pm/nf) – For a long time, flights to North America were only possible in difficult conditions caused by the pandemic. Entry requirements for Canada have now been relaxed, and travel to the United States should also be possible again shortly. This means that many destinations on the other side of the Atlantic can be reached from Nuremberg Airport with just one transfer stop!

The entry ban for Canada has already been lifted for those who are fully vaccinated from 7 September, with in November it is expected that the entry restrictions will also apply to those who have been fully vaccinated and those who have a combined Additional testing has been done in the United States.

A total of 19 destinations in the United States and five in Canada can be reached with just one stopover from Nuremberg via hubs in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Zurich and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

In the United States there are links between Dallas Fort Worth, Newark, Orlando and Philadelphia with Lufthansa. Atlanta and Houston reach passengers from Air France, KLM and Lufthansa. Destinations Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco are served by Air France, KLM, Lufthansa and Swiss. Denver is connected by Lufthansa/United Airlines. Detroit and Seattle are served by Air France, Lufthansa and KLM/Delta Air Lines. It goes to Miami with Air France, Lufthansa, Swiss, KLM/Delta Air Lines. To Minneapolis with Air France/Delta Air Lines and KLM. To Salt Lake City with KLM/Delta Air Lines. Washington, DC is served by Air France, KLM, Lufthansa/United Airlines and Swiss/United Airlines. KLM hopes to bring travelers back to gamblers’ paradise Las Vegas from December.

Canada has already been reintegrated into the flight network: KLM will operate flights to Calgary and Edmonton. Air France, KLM and Lufthansa/Air Canada are en route to Montreal. Air France, KLM, Lufthansa/Air Canada and Swiss/Air Canada depart for Toronto and Vancouver.
