Philosophy has a lot to do with language: it has been one of the most popular disciplines among philosophers since the late 19th century, but it was certainly important even before that. Because no matter how much you think, without language you cannot exchange ideas and discuss them with others. You must have some language. This applies to any science, but intuitively it seems a bit more important to philosophy. After all, people don’t talk about lab setup and protocol data, but about something like moral laws, the certainty of dying one day, or the importance of abstract art.
