You grew up with Harry Potter!
Daniel Radcliffe (32), Emma Watson (31) and Rupert Grint (31) were still children when they stood in front of the camera for their first “Harry Potter” shoot.
Twenty years after The Philosopher’s Stone hit theaters, the main characters are now reuniting to discuss their time on the Hogwarts set. They reveal some spicy shooting secrets and let fans know what was going on behind the scenes – and between the actors in particular.
In the TV special “Return to Hogwarts” (New Year’s Eve on Sky & Sky Tickets), Radcliffe says: “Every part of my life is connected to Harry Potter. My first kiss is with someone over here. My first friends here (from) were. It all originates from this part of the set somewhere.”
And he experienced his first crush on the sets. As Radcliffe revealed, he was eyeing fellow actor Helena Bonham Carter (55). Unfortunately, the actress was a few years older than him at that time.
After all: Radcliffe took that time to heart and wrote a letter to his beloved, which he read in the TV special.
“Dear HBC, It was a pleasure to be your co-star and kind of coaster because in the end I always had your coffee. I love you And I wish I was born ten years earlier so that I would have a chance with you. So much love and thank you for being so cool.”
But Carter, who played the evil Bellatrix Lestrange on the show, wasn’t the only woman on set that caught Radcliffe’s interest. The actor said that many of his early romantic experiences came during the shooting of the cult series.
With whom he arranged to meet during filming, he did not disclose. But many actors experienced their hormones at their peak during the shooting of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.”
Hermione actress Emma Watson also revealed that she had a crush on actor Tom Felton, who played the villainous Draco Malfoy.
It seems as if the spark is shining not only in front of the camera!
