Just a few weeks ago, testing capacity was at the limit in the Newburgh area. Since then, the number of private operators has grown exponentially. What are the requirements and how does the Department of Health deal with them.

The list is longer on the website of the district office Neuberg-Schrobenhausen. All the sites that offer the Rapid Antigen Test are listed there – 64 in number. “It was about a quarter at the end of October,” says Melanie Ubel from the Department of Health. However, with its current ordinance of 23 November, the Bavarian state government established a 3G rule for local public transport and commute to work, as well as a 2G plus rule in the leisure sector. For example, anyone who wants to go to the cinema, swimming pool or gym has since had to show a negative test in addition to being vaccinated or cured. At the beginning of December, the capacity of two test centers in the district was on the limit of days. At that time, anyone who needed the test had to wait a long time. Since then the number of privately operated examination centers has increased rapidly. For a long time only medical experts were responsible, suddenly becoming a task of rudimentary trained laymen.
