The moment he saved Justin Trudeau from the cold

Prince George has now matured into a confident little boy who knows how to deal with public appearances. A few years ago things looked a little different. This was particularly felt by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Prince George, 8, was just three years old when he began his second foreign trip with his parents in 2016. Little Princess Charlotte, 6, Prince William, 39, and Duchess Catherine, 40, also took him on their official visit to Canada. When the British royal family arrived in the province of British Columbia, 50-year-old Justin Trudeau gave them a warm welcome. Only little George was not very enthusiastic.

Photos of the funny moment went around the world at that time. The video shows the Canadian Prime Minister wishing a well-deserved three-year-old while he is trying his best. Trudeau kneeled before Little George to meet him at eye level. First he tries to get the young Shahi into the high-five. However, George shook his head. Even with a low five, Trudeau failed miserably. “How about a classic handshake?” The 50-year-old offers up his stubborn counterpart. But the little prince too coldly declines the offer, turns his back and shakes his hand at the waiting reporters.
Justin Trudeau wore the basket with restraint, later also saying via Twitter that he and his wife, Sophie, felt “honoured” to welcome the royals back.
Little Prince has grown into a media professional
Meanwhile Prince George has grown into a younger media professional, as he recently proved when he attended a “Six Nations” rugby game between England and Wales. He shook hands diligently and answered some questions. On his next trip abroad, the heir to the throne will surely know what to do.
