In “Let’s Dance” juror Joachim Llanby prefers to hand out candidates. Kerstin Ott, who took part in the show in 2019, takes a serious look at it. In the podcast “But Please With Schlager” He also wished for the expulsion of the dance judge.

In conversation with moderators Anika Reichel and Julian David, Ott recalls Her Time on “Let’s Dance”, The singer thinks about not only positive moments. At that time, the candidate, who was the first female contestant to dance with a woman, dropped out on the fifth show. However, she wanted him to leave the show earlier. She told her fans not to call her anymore.

Joachim Lambi Often Gets “Too Personal”

The reason for this was also the comments of Joachim Lambi, which he had to face week after week. Ott explains in the podcast, “I still wouldn’t mind if they criticized my bad dancing style and gave me zero points.”

“I would have been fine with that. But there’s a sentence or two that get too personal then. You really have to say: ‘Guys, we all know better now.’ We know that this cannot be good for a person’s health.”

Although she doesn’t give any specific examples, the hit star gets clear words for the jury’s criticism: “I think what’s happening on the jury is bullying too!”

Kerstin Ott wishes Lambie would be replaced

Three years later, she sees positive changes. Long is no longer as scathing as she used to in her season. “I think it has something to do with Bohlen as well, that RTL is also reconsidering, which is right and important too,” he suspects.

Still, she thinks that such behavior should no longer be tolerated in 2022. Therefore, she makes an explicit demand: “Just as Dieter Bohlen was replaced, I would also like that from Mr. Lambie. I too can be completely honest and open.”

Although he may be a “very friendly person”, he hopefully “looks stupid”. “He could have done it better and I wished that if they didn’t replace him, he would have adapted a little bit,” Ott wants.
