USB Hub for Office and Ergonomic Monitor with FHD Resolution – Hardware

Dorston, May 04, 2022 Viewsonic, a global leader in visual solutions, today introduced two new models in its FHD monitor series, the VG2748a-2 and VG2448a-2, which are ideal for office use, whether at home or work. The screen has 24- or 27-inch panels, integrated speakers and a wide range of connections, and a USB hub. In addition, both VG models can be rotated, tilted, rotated and adjusted in height.

ViewSonic is now offering the VG2448a-2 for 199 Euros (RRP inclusive of VAT) in specialist stores. The three-inch larger VG2748a-2 costs 249 euros (RRP inclusive of VAT).

The time spent by employees in front of screens has been increasing steadily over the years. Accordingly, the demand for modern office displays is increasing in terms of image quality, versatility and ergonomics. Viewsonic’s two new VG models fully meet all these requirements.

The ViewSonic VG2448a-2 is a 24-inch Full HD office monitor that uses a superclear IPS panel surrounded by an extremely thin frame on three sides. Like the larger three-inch VG2748A-2 model, the 24-inch model offers a brightness of 250 cd/m2, a response time of 5 ms, and a native contrast of 1000:1 and 1920×1080 pixels. Both screens faithfully display 16.7 million colors and SuperClear IPS technology ensures rich and clear images from virtually any angle (178/178).

A large number of connections ensure a high level of flexibility: in addition to 1 x VGA, 1 x HDMI (1.4) and 1 x DisplayPort (1.2), each monitor has a USB hub in version 3.2. This includes 1 up and 4 down USB ports in version 3.2 (3 x 5V/900mA and 1 x 2.1A). It also has built-in 2 watt stereo speakers.

The two screens also offer a wide range of ergonomic flexibility: they can be tilted (-5° / +40°), rotated (120°) and rotated in portrait format thanks to the pivot function. The height of the display can be adjusted up to 130mm. The functional base can also be used for space-saving attachment of thin and void clients. Thanks to the blue light filter and flickerfree technology, the monitors prevent headaches and eye fatigue even when working for long hours at the screen.

In combination with productivity software vDisplay Manager for efficient multitasking and optimized screen control, screens become the ideal ally in the (home) office. The software is available for free download.
