In association with Allianz, NBW will offer a charging tariff exclusively for Insurance Group customers in the future. With a monthly basic fee of EUR 1.99, they can take power from EnBW’s own charging infrastructure at low prices.

As part of the tariff, the cost for Allianz customers to charge at NBW AC charging points is 0.38 euros per kilowatt hour (kWh). The cost of DC charging at NBW fast charging locations with a charging capacity of up to 300 kW is EUR 0.48/kWh. At the charging points of other operators in EnBW “HyperNetz”, a kilowatt hour costs 0.45 (AC) or 0.55 euro (DC). When they sign up, customers receive a charging card from EnBW for authentication at the charging locations; Alternatively, the EnBW app can be used.

According to the energy company, EnBW currently offers more than 250,000 charging points in nine European countries. Like the group’s charging tariffs, the same prices apply to all these charging points. “As one of the largest insurers in Germany, Allianz Versicherungs-AG is a valuable partner for us,” says Timo Silober, responsible for electromobility at NBW. “With the partnership, we are making our charging infrastructure accessible to an even larger group of people.”

According to its own information, EnBW operates Germany’s largest fast charging network with approximately 700 locations and is expanding it further. Their fast-charging locations are mainly located at important traffic junctions such as motorway junctions or in the center of the city, in the parking lots of wholesale and retail chains. “Our nationwide fast-charging infrastructure enables our customers to charge flexibly and in a way that is suitable for everyday use – and now at an even lower rate for Allianz customers,” says Silobar.
