Over the weekend, Formula 1 will make guest appearances at the Baku City Circuit in Azerbaijan (Sundays, at 1pm, LIVE! on Kicker). Haas team boss Günther Steiner warned of more costly accidents and warned his pilots Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen: “We hope that there will be no damage to us in Baku.”

Instead of running into the World Championship points at strong Haas in his second season, Schumacher completely destroyed his company car for the second time this year in the seventh race of the season in Monaco. The major crash poked another deep hole in the racing team’s tight budget and dented the reputation of record champion Michael Schumacher’s son.

Steiner already has the following race in Canada, just a week after the Baku Grand Prix: “We only have a few days to set up there, so if you have a car it gets even tougher ”

I think Baku will also feel much wider than Monaco.

However, Schumacher is confident ahead of the race on the street circuit in Baku. “Baku and Monaco are very different. It’s about adapting quickly. I think even Baku will feel a lot wider than Monaco,” Schumacher said. You should be in a good position for Baku, “mainly because our car has done well on almost every track so far.” In Monaco, however, his car broke in two.

The season started off well for the team. While Magnussen has already scored 15 points, Schumacher is still waiting for his first point.
