Only 15-year-old Summer Mackintosh has been crowned world champion in the 200m butterfly in Budapest. The Canadian swimmer also set a junior world record in 2:05.20 thanks to a strong final sprint.

BUDAPEST – Only 15-year-old Summer Mackintosh has been crowned world champion over the 200m butterfly in Budapest. The Canadian swimmer also set a junior world record in 2:05.20 thanks to a strong final sprint.

It was his second medal in title fights in the Hungarian capital. About two hours later, she also secured her third medal with a relay bronze in the 4x200m freestyle.
