From guilty to plaintiff… boris baker (54) wants to drag his permanent enemy Oliver Pocher (44) to court. And that from jail!
Baker himself is behind barsHe was sentenced in May to two and a half years in prison for delaying bankruptcy, which he is now serving at Huntercombe Prison near London.
But the tennis star is facing the next court hearing. The main hearing of his civil case against Oliver Pocher is now scheduled for November 15.
As the regional court in Offenburg (Baden-Württemberg) announced on Thursday, neither Baker, who is still in prison, nor comedian Pocher are to appear. So the trial will probably be through their lawyers.
What it’s about: Baker didn’t quite fit Poucher’s RTL show “Pocher – Dangerously Honest.” The Wimbledon winner was teased by the provocative comedian, with Pocher launching a call for donations titled “Make Boris Rich Again”.
Baker does not want any money, but wants the court to block the episode from airing. His lawyer Sammy Hammad (52) of Offenburg to BILD: “We demand a termination from Pocher. This is about the unauthorized transmission of the footage. In the process, Boris Becker was ridiculed.”
Pocher’s lawyer Dr. Patricia Kronmeyer (44) is sure to win. To You Build: “Perhaps it would have been better – especially from today’s perspective – if Mr. Baker had not started this legal dispute.”
The trial was actually scheduled to begin in July, but was postponed due to the illness of one of the trial participants.
