New Stellaris Species Pack Available Sept. 20

Paradox Interactive announced today that Toxoids, a new species pack for the sci-fi strategy game Stellaris, will be released on the PC platform on September 20, 2022. Toxoids gives players the opportunity to stake the future of their planets for immediate gains and make the drastic sacrifices necessary to survive in a hostile galaxy. With a plethora of cosmetic customizations along with new originals and civics, Stellaris Galaxy offers players plenty of new content to engross in.

With the new Toxoids Species Pack, which already comes with visual and mechanical additions to the myriad worlds of Stellaris, players will assert their claim to power with the most resilient and tenacious species in the game’s history. Toxoid kingdoms can evolve rapidly and adapt better than most creatures, but can make life uncomfortably difficult for their neighbors – and often for themselves as well.

Ingredients of Toxoids Species Pack Detail*:

New Origin:
God of Poison Knights: In the depths of the homeworld, rumors abound about a true power buried under poisonous mud. Can the secrets of this past be uncovered, potentially uncovered on the Milky Way?
Overmodified: The candle that burns brightest is lit in memory of the galaxy! In this species, players acquire more and more traits at the cost of their lifetime and live in the here and now without worrying about the next day!
New Civics:
Toxic Bath: Populations can grow rapidly with a fresh infusion of mutagenic slime – as long as players are willing to pay the cost to the planet and people.
Scraper: The Empire’s Junk is the Empire’s Treasure! You can’t take pride in using rubble and destruction for your own rapid construction projects.
The tireless industrialist: If you want to meet the demand, you have to learn to ignore all the little rules and negative thoughts. The surviving population would be grateful for any resource.
New Properties:
Incubator: Empty Planet’s rapid repopulation is understandable, but these development facilities can also fill up really fast!
Inorganic breath: your people are the source of valuable foreign gases! It’s a shame that respirators are so expensive.
Venomous: Other species cannot live close to the species and it seems that their very existence makes the planet a terrible place to live. As a result, other empires have a hard time fighting or subduing them, and it’s hilarious to see the expressions on their faces when they’re in one room at a time.
Alien Metabolism: Everything is eaten while other species call on the Hazmat team. You’ll eat faster, live longer, and enjoy the awesome rainbow of flavors!
New cosmetic options: portraits of species, ship models and cityscapes only a mother could love.
NEW ADVISOR: The Empire Is Expanding From an Incredible Source of Harmful Satire!
