The Intercontinental Olympic Committee (IOC) has declared June 29, 2021, as the new qualification deadline for the postponed Tokyo Olympics. Accordingly, the deadline for remaining entries has been revised to July 5, 2021, the IOC explained.
A complete of 57 for each cent of all the qualification sites had been verified by the time the Tokyo Olympic was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Initially scheduled to be held from July 24 to August 9 this 12 months, the Video games will now be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
Adjustments to Olympics qualification method

Athletics, cycling (BMX Freestyle, BMX Racing and Mountain Bike), weightlifting, basketball, judo, rowing, swimming, badminton, skateboarding, taekwondo and wrestling have created small adjustments to their qualification programs.
Meanwhile, the subsequent athletics have extended the qualification durations and continuing with the originally accredited qualification system:

IOC claimed that dates for all the qualification occasion dates and spots “will be confirmed in owing study course by the respective IFs.”
