Hertha BSc will travel to the USA for a training camp in the winter. The Bundesliga soccer club is preparing for the rest of the Bundesliga season from January 3 to January 14, 2023 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, the club announced on Tuesday.

The Berliners will play their first Bundesliga game after the winter break, this time due to the World Cup in Qatar, at VfL Bochum on 21 January.

Over the World Cup opening weekend in November, Hertha will play a tournament in Klagenfurt, Austria, featuring professionals who are not traveling with their national teams. Other participants on 19 and 20 November included host and first division club SK Austria Klagenfurt, Canadian third division club TSV 1860 Munich and York United FC.

Further friendships are planned on November 26, December 1 or December 3 and December 7. According to Hertha, the opponents have yet to be determined.

On December 8, the professionals go on their Christmas break. On January 2 of the new year, training begins with a performance test.
