If you have an older smartphone, you will soon no longer be able to use the WhatsApp messenger service.
Dortmund – Messenger service WhatsApp is one of the most downloaded apps in Germany. The app provides the optimal platform to communicate with others by quickly messaging and sending multiple emoji. But many cell phone owners won’t be able to use Messenger any time soon, and there’s a reason for that.

WhatsApp may no longer be used on every smartphone in the future – older cell phones affected
The app will remain basically the same, but some cell phone owners will no longer be able to use Instant Messenger from October 24. Whatsapp users having old smartphones are affected.
The magazine reports that Apple iPhones will need to be updated to the iOS 12 operating system in the future to continue using the app Watson with. No updates, bug fixes or functional enhancements can be downloaded on iPhones with operating systems older than iOS 12. Whatsapp will no longer work on these devices in the future.
Again Messenger service on your website There are reports that Android phones are also affected. In the future, users will need an operating system from Android version 4.1 on their devices.

However, cell phone owners need not panic. If your smartphone still has the old operating system, then you can easily update it. An iPhone with iOS 10 or iOS 11 operating system can be updated without any problems. It may take a few minutes.
However, there are exceptions. Unable to install update on iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s. These and older Apple smartphones are no longer supported by Messenger.

According to WhatsApp, mobile phone users are notified if updates are needed for continuous use. In addition, reminders are sent to make necessary upgrades (more on .) digital on RUHR24).
WhatsApp justifies the regular sorting of older devices with the fact that the company aligns its technical resources with the latest smartphones. This is to encourage development in technology. Recently, WhatsApp has added several upgrades with the latest update.
