His incurable disease catches the crown princess.

Norway’s Mette-Marit (49) had to cancel an appointment on Tuesday after only 15 minutes – could not take her body anymore!

As a patron, she visited the Red Cross’s women’s center “Stella” in Oslo to mark its tenth anniversary. At first she smiled bravely, but then suddenly nothing worked…

The palace said: “Unfortunately, the Crown Princess had to cancel the trip earlier than planned due to side effects of medication she was taking for her pulmonary fibrosis.”

Pulmonary fibrosis was diagnosed in October 2018. The lungs wear out and lose their elasticity as a result of chronic inflammatory processes. Breathing becomes even more difficult – cough, shortness of breath, lack of oxygen!

Pirfenidone and nintedanib are commonly used for treatment. Frequent side effects? Nausea and diarrhea. However, it can also cause loss of sensory organs or movement processes.

The Crown Princess had only been diagnosed with Covid five weeks earlier – it is unclear whether the virus weakened her lungs as well.
