In the Netherlands, there are signs that China has two illegal “police centers” to monitor dissidents. According to the Foreign Ministry’s announcement on Wednesday in The Hague, an investigation has been launched into “the activities of the so-called police centres”.
“When we have more clarity, appropriate measures will be taken,” Dutch Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maxim Hoevenkamp told AFP.
