The Pillars of Creation Unveils the James Webb Telescope

New images from new telescope: The “pillars of creation” are clouds of dust and gas in space. The new “James Webb” telescope also captured them brilliantly.
The image “The Pillars of Creation” is one of the most famous astronomical images. The Hubble Space Telescope captured the view in the Eagle Nebula, about 6,500 light-years away, in 1995 and again in 2014. Now the new “James Webb” telescope has also recorded a spectacular motif. In this picture the pillars are seen as ghostly hands in front of the red sky.
The pillars are actually clouds of dust and gas, which are especially evident in the mid-infrared image. The European Space Agency writes that the denser the dust, the darker the gray in the image. Therefore the more red the background appears, the lighter and cooler the dust.
“James Webb” was built jointly by the space agencies in Europe (ESA), USA (NASA) and Canada (CSA) and was launched on December 25, 2021 from the European Spaceport in Kourou in French Guiana on an Ariane launch vehicle . – First after cost explosion and new shifts. The first images from the telescope were published in mid-July and provide the deepest and most detailed insights ever taken into space.
