VW employees should be quite happy seeing this news.
VW lets things jump for its employees. You can read what Volkswagen pays its employees here.
VW not only supports artificial insemination
The group has been supporting its employees at the Wolfsburg main plant for a long time: funds from the so-called provident fund are intended to help employees obtain financial support, according to employee magazine “Mitbestimt”.
However, only those employees who are paid there or are members are entitled to do so. The majority of subsidies from this sub-fund are financed from employee contributions.
For example, anyone who opts for artificial insemination can count on a subsidy of between 500 and 1,000 euros per year as a Volkswagen employee. Even if employees have poor eyesight and want to get rid of annoying glasses, the carmaker is now helping. Meanwhile, ophthalmic laser operations have become a different type of service. In other words, VW covers 40 percent of the cost for employees – or a maximum of 1,000 euros per year.
Wigs and hearing aids – VW helps employees
Volkswagen has also increased support for hearing aids this year: the Wolfsburg-based company charges between 40 and 50 percent here – but at a maximum of 1,000 euros per year. People suffering from hair loss also receive support: Volkswagen donates 500 to 1,000 euros for a wig so that employees can feel comfortable in their own skin again.
