These PS4 and PS5 Games Were Most Successful in October

Sony released last month’s PlayStation Store charts and wasn’t too surprised with the lists. As expected, the shooter “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” was able to win the top spot, which at least applies to the PS5 ranking. On PS4, the Activision title had to give up on long-running seller “FIFA 23”.

The Electronic Arts football game on PS5 was also a success. This was enough for second place ahead of “Gotham Knights” and “Grand Theft Auto 5”. “Cyberpunk 2077” also ran well on PS5 last October. The title came in at #5, followed by games such as NBA 2K23 and A Plague Tale: Requiem.

On PS4, the leaderboard looks a bit different. After “FIFA 23” and “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” in the 1st and 2nd places, “Minecraft” was able to occupy the third place – ahead of the rock star duo “GTA 5” and “Red Dead Redemption 2”. .

The PSVR and free-to-play charts were also re-evaluated individually. While “Job Simulator” and “Beat Saber” were very popular with the virtual reality faction, “Overwatch 2”, “The Sims 4” and “Fortnite” dominated the free-to-play charts. You can see the full overview below:
