A popular item from Dm is currently affected by the recall. Customers should check their products.

Dortmund – Several companies do occasional recalls. For example, cosmetics were already affected by DM, in which germs were discovered. Now, however, a foodie of the popular business is affected. It cannot be ruled out that there are shards of glass in it.

Recall over DM: Glass splinters discovered in a popular product

In particular, it is from remember The product affected is “Hazelnut Butter Date, Banana and Cocoa” from Freche Freunde. Puree is served in a 180 gram glass at DM. However, only premium glasses with batch number L41934 and dated before 27.06.2024 are affected.

The manufacturer erdbär GmbH itself explains: “As part of quality assurance measures, we found that a glass of Freiche Freunde Hazelnutmus Date, Banana and Cocoa contained glass fragments of different sizes”. Therefore, the possibility of other glasses in this batch being affected cannot be ruled out.

Therefore customers are strongly advised not to consume any product affected by the product recall. DM will discontinue all other affected products. These were available in both the German and Austrian branches. Rossmann’s spread is also affected by the recall – but because of Salmonella.

DM Recall: Product cost is refundable

Anyone who already has a DM product at home is advised to dispose of it with household waste. However, customers also have the option to return the product to the branch affected by the recall. Consumers get their money back on the spot – without even presenting a receipt (more service news on the Ruhr 24).
