On the “Chase Kromer” program, Kurt Kromer takes on celebrities’ missteps. And comedian Faisal Kavsi did a lot in this regard in the past. Finally, so much for moderator Kromer.
Heated conversation with moderator Kurt Kromer: During an interview with comedian Faisal Kavusi, there was a small scandal on the RBB program “Chase Kromer”. Kromer prematurely broke off the conversation several minutes before the end.
in the interview Available in ARD Media Library Yes, it was about the controversial statements of the comedian. YouTuber Sylvie Carlsson commented on a post by comedian Joyce Ilg on Instagram on the topic of Knockout Drops. Carlson wrote, “Nearly died from knockout drops once. Not a cool Joyce.” Hesse-born Kavusi then replied: “Next time I’ll increase the dose, I promise.” The “Let’s Dance” contestant later apologized for this. In Kromer, Kavusi explained that his goal was to upset Carlsen – and he did. “We all know whether it was any good now: definitely not.”
Kromer also pointed to a racist statement Kavusi made to “Let’s Dance” juror Motsi Mabuse. “You also racially insulted Motsi Mabuse on ‘Comedy Night XXL’. You asked if Motsi couldn’t understand the apes on ‘Planet of the Apes’ even though they only make animal sounds.” Kavusi didn’t want that, he explained again. He is not racist and is not hostile towards anyone else.
However, for Cromer, the camel’s back was overpriced. “You only talk nonsense,” said the moderator. Kavusi can now “outrage”. Kromer then left the stylized interrogation room. He then said in front of the cameras: “Today is the day I think (…) that I’ll go home and see if I can rethink the concept.” Then he got up and left.
The show features celebrities and politicians answering questions from moderator Kurt Kroemer. Guests included ex-“Bild” editor-in-chief Julian Reichelt, former health minister Jens Spahn and former AfD party leader Frauke Petri.
