Of echo show 15 still have one fire tvWith the latest update, Amazon, as previously announced, has also brought its entertainment interface to smart displays, thus vastly increasing the selection of streaming apps.
Finally, the Fire TV is much easier to control than the previously available but severely limited streaming prowess for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. You can control your Fire TV with the Alexa Voice Remote even more easily than with the Echo Show 15’s touch display.
All you need is a third-generation remote control that isn’t connected to another Fire TV device that’s active at the same time. Here you can find out step by step how coupling works.
If you don’t see the Fire TV menu option on your Echo Show 15, check which software version your device is running in Settings under the Device option and check for software updates. If the old Fire OS version 7.5.5.5 is still installed, click the menu item once again to check for updates. with Version 7.5.0.1 of the Fire TV addon should then find its way onto your Echo.
