Karnataka shuffles IAS officers, labour secretary transferred once again

Amid the Covid disaster, the Karnataka authorities shuffled a dozen senior IAS officers and transferred M. Maheshwar Rao as a secretary in the labour office for the third time in three months.

“Supplemental Main Secretary Rajkumar Khatri of the agriculture office will hold concurrent cost of the labour division, relieving Rao,” claimed a staff area formal on Wednesday.

It is the third time Rao has been transferred from the labour division after he changed P. Mannivanan in mid-Could but was transferred to the Micro, Compact and Medium Enterprises (MSME) office as secretary a 7 days later on and was posted once more as labour secretary in June to hold it as a concurrent charge.
