The five Rafale jets took off from France on Monday, lined a distance of just about 7,000 km from with air-to-air refuelling and had a one stop at a French airbase in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“Part 144, which prohibits assembly of four or much more persons, has been imposed in the villages in close proximity to the air foundation, together with Dhulkot, Baldev Nagar, Garnala and Panjkhora,” Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma was quoted as declaring by information agency PTI.

Shooting of video clips or having photos of the boundary wall of the air foundation and close by parts will remain “strictly prohibited”, he added.

Haryana Residence Minister Anil Vij reported Ambala police have taken all the vital steps.
