Fireworks protesters honk horns near Gracie Mansion to wake up de Blasio

Scores of drivers honked their vehicle horns in the vicinity of Gracie Mansion Monday evening to disrupt the mayor’s slumber in protest of the current uptick in illegal fireworks capturing off across the city.

“We require to send out a concept that we require to close these chaotic fireworks that [have] been going on throughout the town,” reported Councilman Chaim Deutsch, who attended the protest.

“So if we cannot snooze, Mr. Mayor, you will not slumber,” the councilman said in a video statement posted to his Twitter account.

Deutsch mentioned the demonstration was expected to draw in a several hundred individuals.

A movie posted to the Twitter lover webpage of area Orthodox radio persona, Heshy Tischler, exhibits a line of around a dozen autos idling around Gracie Mansion, with many blaring their horns for at least a moment straight.
