A whatsun festival in the virtual space - St. Blasian

St. Blasian College is presenting this year with video and live stream / church services only as attendance events.

. One more week until Pentecost. During this time there is usually a stir everywhere in the college. The reason is the boarding school’s largest social event, the Whatsun Utsav. This year too, the college community is preparing to receive many visitors. But this time they will only reach virtually. For some events on the site, the number of potential visitors is very limited.

Technicians walk back and forth on the pater-alfred-delp-halle stage of the college, microphones are tested, the color of the spotlights is adjusted correctly. There, in the weeks before the big event, the directing team usually works with the actors and everyone else at the Whatsun theater. And with a musical introduction, the Whitsun festival traditionally begins on Friday evenings.
The loud applause for the great performances by the actors and musicians will not be heard this year – this time the auditorium is just a click away …
