2008 Olympics gold medallist Abhinav Bindra led the way as capturing fraternity compensated homage to former India shooter Pournima Zanane who handed away a short while ago immediately after a really hard-fought fight with Cancer.

“Deeply stunned and distressed by the information of untimely demise of an previous friend Pournima Zanane. She was an intercontinental shooter and ISSF coach. Our friendship goes back to junior workforce times.. But we will fulfill someday, someplace yet again,” claimed veteran shooter Joydeep Karmakar on Twitter.

“RIP Pournima. You will be considerably missed,” claimed Bindra although responding to Karmakar’s tweet.

“We cannot think that you are no for a longer period with us. This is a tragedy for us, we will pray for you pricey good friend Pournima Zanane. Rest in peace,” explained Jaspal Rana.

Previous Indian shooter Suma Shirur stated: “Pournima Zanane’s untimely departure from the planet is extremely unhappy information. As a colleague & competitor, her electrical power & enthusiasm to do items irrespective of a prolonged health issues will generally be remembered! My teammate in the Railways, we received a lot of medals with each other both equally nationwide & international.”
