After the complete shutdown of trains in the Netherlands, now trains are running again!
Rail traffic along with our neighbors came to a standstill for the whole day. This was reported by the Dutch media site “we” .
There were reports of passengers sitting in a stationary train from Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Bosch, Rotterdam, Lelystad and Voorhout, among others.
According to the railway company “Netherlands Spoorwagen” (compared to Deutsche Bahn), the problem lies in traffic management and communication between train drivers. Because it was disrupted, train traffic was halted “for security reasons”, according to a spokesperson.

A railway spokesperson said the trains were brought to a controlled stop at the next station. He confirmed that all trains to the “Netherlands Spoorwagen” have come to a standstill.
Meanwhile, trains are running again, as the Dutch railway company announced on Twitter:
“Trains are currently running on all routes, following a telephone breakdown this morning. We believe that all passengers will return home and we will be able to resume normal train traffic tomorrow.”
