Munchen – It can go on like this! Bayern players showcase their national teams and celebrate a lot of victories.
FC Bayern’s three stars have a special reason to celebrate: with all three being France’s Benjamin Pavard, Daytot Upamecano and Lucas Hernández, the Nations League’s premier winners. On Sunday evening, Equipe Tricolor still won 2–1 against Spain in the final of the youth competition.
Tolisso and Koman can also call themselves Nations League winners
As in the semifinals, Pavard was in the starting line-up, with Upamecano coming in the 43rd minute. Hernández played in a 3–2 semi-final win against Belgium that was not used against the Spaniards.
Since Corentin Tolisso and Kingsley Koman have also played for France in the current competition, the other two professionals of the Munich Nations League winners can call themselves.
Alfonso Davies has also competed twice with Canada in World Cup qualification. After sharing points with favorites Mexico, in which the 20-year-old drew up a 1-1 final, the left-back with Canada failed to extend past Sunday night’s goalless draw against Jamaica. Davis remained on the pitch for 90 minutes in both matches.
Sabitzer scores for Austria, debt on head
Marcel Sabitzer gained a lot of confidence from the Austrians’ 2–0 success. The 27-year-old was in the starting line-up against the Friar Islands and closed the bag with his own goal in the 48th minute. In Munich, the midfielder is still waiting for his first starting line-up and his first goal participation.
Dwarf Sarr was allowed to wear the national jersey for the first time on Saturday evening. The Bayern defender went the full distance on his loan and celebrated a 4-1 win against Namibia with Senegal.
Lewandowski celebrates a runaway victory, Meller and Gnabry meet
Robert Lewandowski has also already played and led the Polish national team as captain in an undisputed 5-0 win against San Marino on Saturday. The world footballer remained without his goal and was spared in the second half.
Serge Gnabry and clown Thomas Miller shot the German national team to victory against Romania on Friday evening. Gnabry equalized the Romanian’s early lead in the 52nd minute, before substitute Meller scored a final 2–1 in the 82nd minute after a submission by Leon Goretzka. Joshua Kimmich led the DFB-Elf in the absence of Manuel Neuer as captain on the field. Niklas Slay and Leroy San were also used.
Chaupo-Moting with a double pack, Stanisic celebrates its opening premiere
And another Bayern star was in the goal mood: Erik Maxim Chaupo-Moting scored twice in Cameroon’s 3-1 win against Mozambique on Friday. With a second win in the third game, Cameroon are now second in the qualifying group behind Ivory Coast.
Bayern shooting star Josip Stanisic made his debut for the Croatian national team on Friday evening. In the 3–0 win against Cyprus, the right-back was immediately in the starting line-up and covered the entire distance.
Tillman won the German U21s . made a dream debut for
Youngster Malik Tillman also celebrated his dream debut on Thursday. The 19-year-old scored on his debut for the German U21 national team against Iceland. Scored an interim 1:1 (34th minute) in a 3:2 breakthrough for DFB youth in EM qualification against Israel Tillman.
