The concert hall of Blaibach (Lkr. Cham) is one of the most famous in Europe. Its unique architecture provides sound experiences that otherwise only top hotels in large metropolises can provide. But that was not the reason Bayern star Alphonse Davis paid a visit to the 2000 resident community for a showpiece.

The reason for this was an advertisement shoot for Munich fashion label BSTN in collaboration with sporting goods company Nike. To shoot a marketing video for the anniversary edition of the legendary “Air Jordan” – the first version of the sneaker turned 25 this year – the makers chose Blibacher Konzerhaus.

The result is video and photos of Alphonso Davis driving through a concert hall on a tuned ride-on lawnmower. Recollection of the designer of the shoe, who was allegedly inspired by such a vehicle. Accordingly, the advertising film is also called: “Inspiration”.

Canada’s 20-year-old Champions League winner and sneaker lover Alphonse Davis “is the perfect embodiment of how inspiration can run.” And Blaibacher Konzerthaus was clearly the perfect setting for a commercial shoot.
