Two Lions travel to the German national team: Dominic Bock and Marcus Freis, along with two Frankfurters senior and U20 national teams.

National coach Tony Soderholm has named Dominic Bock from Löwen Frankfurt for the national team and thus the upcoming Germany Cup. In 2019, the 22-year-old has already played for Germany and earned the next nomination in the current season with 20 points. On 10 November, Germany will start the tournament with a duel against Denmark. Then it’s on to Austria and Slovakia.

a great honor

“It was my goal to make a positive impact with my performance at Löwen Frankfurt and recommend myself to the national team – of course I am very happy that it worked out immediately,” the striker said. “It’s an honor for me. During the Germany Cup in the home country, Krefeld,” he added.

Marcus Freis may also be happy about the nomination. During the November break of PENNY DEL, he participates in the Swiss 4-nation tournament in Mante with the U20s. Tobias Abkamper’s German team will also have rivals Switzerland, Norway and Slovakia.

“It makes us proud”

Sporting director Franz-David Fritzmeier also expressed happiness over the nominations of the two cracks: “It makes us proud that two of our players are allowed to feature the Lions in the national jersey. Both Dominicans were eligible to play in the Germany Cup, as did the Dominicans. Markus Freis for the German U20 national team, where he was nominated for the U20 World Cup, the best youth tournament in the world in December/January in Canada. We wish success to our boys and the German teams. Huh.”
