Boris Johnson and Justin Trudeau create an amusing scene at the start of the G20 summit in Rome. The group photo was almost taken without him – but then it was noticed that two seats were empty.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau entertain a slightly delayed start of the G20 summit in Rome. Your counterparts had already lined up for a group photo on Saturday morning and smiled at the cameras as there were two vacant positions on the podium.

It was only after this that Johnson and Trudeau joined. “Boris! Booris!” Shout out to Mario Draghi, the Prime Minister of Italy, with a smile to his ally of Great Britain. Johnson and Trudeau cheered other top politicians by going beyond the wait.
French President Emmanuel Macron greeted the two latecomers with a broad grin with a handshake, and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen had a laugh as well.
