British "Sun" report: Medical emergency in Putin - Politics abroad

Did Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin (69) need “immediate medical aid”?

This is reported by the British “Sun”, citing the Telegram channel “General SVR”, which is allegedly operated by a Kremlin insider.

According to it, Putin is said to have been given “immediate medical aid” after suffering from a “serious illness”.

His doctors are said to have instructed him to stop making “long” public appearances.

The author of General SVR also claims that this is why Putin’s annual “question and answer” session with “journalists” – actually a purely TV propaganda show – was canceled this year.

The Kremlin dictator is said to be suffering from “severe nausea, weakness and dizziness” as he woke up from his desk after a 90-minute virtual session.

Despite this, Putin spoke to young Russian entrepreneurs, engineers and scientists on Thursday.

How sick is Putin really?

In the past few weeks and months, there was repeated speculation about the health of the Kremlin dictator.

A possible cancer was repeatedly discussed. Evidence included his physical appearance (dry face, reportedly the result of his medication) or his harsh public appearance – for example, in April, he laid on the table during his conversation with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

The new reports cannot be conclusively proven. One thing is certain, for Putin, his health has been a top priority for the past few years. At present, a team of doctors is with him.

Still, Putin wants to keep the invincible ruler’s presence to the outside world: questionable television clips are censored, public demonstrations are cut short – simply to cover up his problems.
