Vippal Broncos is busy working on the team for the coming season. On Tuesday, he announced the first signing, which is set to take the storm ahead.

Sean McBride is the new guy in the Broncos. 1.88 m tall and 91 kg forward was born on August 23, 1995 in Victoria (Canada) and spent his youth with Victoria Grizzlies. In the 2015/16 season, the Canadian moved to the NCAA College League, where he played for the American International College in Springfield. He played four seasons there.

While McBride had 14 points in his freshman season, 23 in his senior year. At the end of his fourth season, the 26-year-old had five games left while playing for the Hartford Wolf Pack in the American Hockey League. He then moved to Hartford on a permanent basis, where he made a total of 33 appearances (6 points) and was loaned to the Norfolk Admirals in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL), where he recorded 7 points in 20 games. Last season, the center made a league move to the Idaho Steelheads. In 70 games he collected 35 points (12 goals, 23 assists).

“Shaun McBride is an outstanding worker and is considered a complete all-rounder,” reads the press release. “He can be dangerous both on offense and on defense.” Shaun McBride will wear the number 71 jersey with the Broncos.
