Martin Osterdahl, executive supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, said that the Eurovision Song Contest has a unique heritage dating back 67 years and continues to grow in popularity worldwide.

“It is time for Canada to join the party and become a player in this worldwide spectacle. The love of music is universal and the celebration of diverse musical styles and genres pushes boundaries and unites people in a way that No other art form can.
